If you have ever been to my house, you know that the Fourth of July is the second biggest holiday of the year. Red White and Blue is everywhere, and that includes the food.
This year, I have even come up with a way to make breakfast patriotic!
Take two square waffles and cut one in half and add it on to the other on the plate – making a flag shape. Then, spread some vanilla Greek yogurt on top, add blueberries for star effect and smashed raspberries and jam for the “stripes.”
Saluting when you sit down – entirely optional, but encouraged!
