*tap tap* Is this thing on?
It’s been a minute, internet. Donna and I had a great time for what, 7 or 8 years, co-blogging away, publishing our second cookbook (hint: there might be a third in the works) in the process, and learning a ton about what we love in food blogging (creative recipe development adventures!) as well as what we really don’t (keeping up with the latest must-do social media trends, neverending SEO struggles, self-promotion, general FOMO keeping up with the Janeses, and so on). Needing a break, we finally started slowing down a little over a year ago, and eventually went on a total hiatus.
I’m finding myself with the urge to do some writing on food, my relationship with it and with my body, and maybe posting the occasional recipe again. (Maybe.) Rather than starting from total scratch, I thought I may as well revive this blog out of dormancy and use this space. I don’t know how long I’ll do so – I’m going into this with deliberate non-commitment – but if you’re up for indulging some navelgazing, watch this space. Donna may even drop in from time to time!
